Rated 5 out of 5 by lisajd from A homely title. Warm and inviting. This book was a Christmas gift from my young girls. I am only half way through. Every morning, with my first cup of coffee I sit quietly and read, smile and transport myself to the wonderful world of Emma bridgewater. I have also cried. the photographic images transcend you to a happy, creative and family time. It's written eloquently and simply and with a nice touch of humour here and there which enables reading so enjoyable, and I will be testing out the recipes! Thank you for a lovely gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bea68 from Lovely Book! I have become a bit of an EB fan and I found this book great, I read it over a weekend and was engrossed in the stories of Emmas life and how she started her pottery company, it made me look all the more admiringly at the lovely EB pottery I already have, and I think this would be a lovely gift for anyone interested in Emma Bridgwater, especially those who are already collectors of her beautiful items, an inspiring book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by jessiecat from A scrummy read. This book got me through a weekend at my inlaws! A fascinating read, beautifully illustrated. It was really interesting to find out more about what inspired Emma in the early days. The recipes were an unexpected bonus, some very tasty looking family food. I was intending to dip in and out but ended up reading cover to cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Emily P from Toast and marmalade I purchased this book after a visit to the factory and shop. I wanted to find out how Emma started, what motivated her, and how she went from having a teacup made for her mother to purchasing a factory. The book is interesting to read. I was so inspired after my visit I now want to be a pottery designer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FRED73 from TOAST AND MARMALADE I Bought this as a early birthday present to myself, as I was intrigued if Emma had roots in the potteries and wondered if this is why she had decided on Stoke to make her pottery! I won't answer this question you will have to read to find out! Beautiful photo's and a enchanting read!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Countrygirl2 from Insight that has a feel good factor. I purchased this book after hearing Emma at the Bath Literature festival - all sold out there. She was inspirational, yet down to Earth, just like her book. A serious amount of realism, sofas, yet what a business lady. Totally recommend this book, especially if you are an 'Emma' fan.
